Starts With Us

 Starts With Us is a nonprofit working to make political conversation more constructive and open. With social media as its primary platform, the organization needed an identity that could feel engaging and contemporary while remaining visually independent.

That presented a unique design challenge: political color, typography, imagery, and symbolism can all carry associations that make a brand feel aligned with one side or another. We built on the existing Starts With Us identity, evolving the logo, color palette, photography, and visual system to create something more expressive and flexible without introducing those same cues.

The result is a social-first identity designed to invite conversation rather than signal a position.
